Chris Rumsey to retire as MD of Milton Homes

Directorate change

City of London Group (COLG) announces that Chris Rumsey, Managing Director of Milton Homes, a subsidiary of COLG, intends to retire from his position in May 2019. He is expected to step down from the board of COLG at the upcoming AGM on 13 September 2018.

The Board will undertake a search for his successor and ensure an effective handover.

Chris Rumsey, Managing Director of Milton Homes, commented: “Having applied my professional life to investment in the retirement market, I have been well placed to decide that this is the right time to plan for my own retirement. As one of the founders of the Milton Homes group I look forward to remaining in my position until next summer to ensure a full handover is completed with no disruption to the business. I have hugely enjoyed my time helping to enlarge the COLG organisation and I wish everyone the best in the future.”

Michael Goldstein, Chief Executive Officer, commented: “I am very grateful for the hard work and excellent professionalism that Chris has consistently shown over a number of years. Chris spearheaded a great deal of success during his time at Milton Homes, proving a key asset in helping advance the company’s market appraisal. We are managing his succession over the next few months and will continue to work closely with him to ensure that the transition is smooth.”
